with the insomnia raging on, I thought putting my itunes on would help but alas to no avail so instead I've been thinking of when I lost my band/artist virginity. I was just commenting on the top US selling albums of all time and the OP hadn't heard anything by Fleetwood Mac, didn't like Led Zep and wasn't into Pink Floyd. I didn't flame her, she's got 7 pages of it already, I think the point has been made. But her ignorance to the existence of Fleetwood was astounding (she asked if they were good!). Anyhoo, it got me thinking to when I lost my Fleetwood virginity. It was 1997,I'd just started secondary school and I signed up for line-dancing and we had a routine to the Corrs' version. My music teacher and mentor Ms Barro hooked me up with Rumours and I remember sitting in the back of the music room and literally falling in love with Songbird and Gold Dust Woman.

So, after years of knowing but never wanting one, I finally decided to get myself an LJ. It's currently 6:21am GMT time and, after drinking half a bottle of knock-off Red Bull (the cheap one that you can get for £1 a litre cause you know it's got the same bloody effect), I am currently deprived of sleep and have resorted to getting my thrills on t'internet.
